Atty. Angel (read as ANGHEL, filipino style) as we like to call him will be celebrating his birthday this Thursday, October 14, 2010 but our class had an early celebration earlier during our Criminal Procedure class. We had everything figured out. It was a simple surprise for one of the notorious (that's quite a compliment) professors in Law school. We had confetti's, sign boards, balloons, ribbons, party hats and yes, we did not forget his favorite Chocolate Heaven birthday cake (alhtough, he wasn't able to eat that much because he's diabetic).

I think the surprise birthday party embarrassed him. :)) cutie.. and while we ate the "handa" or the food prepared by some of our classmates, he kind of well, continue the class and gave a lecture on APPEAL. He was indeed embarrassed. LOL. Anyways, he said thank you a lot of times and that he didn't expect it. I think he was touched.  naks naman. :))

Pictures below:

(will be posting photos next. gash. my net connection is so slow. and I'm in hurry right now... )

I've been wanting to get a tattoo for a couple of weeks now. I really don't why or how or when it started. I just suddenly had this urge to permanently inked myself. I really thought I'd like to have a tattoo because I wish to always remind myself of something I so desire so that I would not lose sight of it. I was not really the rebel type nor the girl who has this type of inclination. I used to think they are unsanitary and all. But everything changed when I decided to well, change. I guess, it's like a mechanism, a chain reaction to forget the previous "me" so I yearn to be someone else or possess something I obviously did not want before. I wanted it badly that it came to a point where I visited a tattoo clinic. It didn't came through, though. I was too scared then. And since it's permanent, I guess I really need to think about it thoroughly. By then, at least I'll have no regrets whatsoever.

If ever, I finally decided to ink myself, permanently. I thought of having a smaller tattoo first like: VII, or No.5 (but in such a way like that of Chanel No. 5)..

Tattoos that I like:

A simple number on the back my neck. =D

Posh's Hebrew tattoo is a quote from Song of Solomon 6:3 which means,
"I am my love's and my love is mine, who browses among lilies".
Victoria and husband David got this matching tattoos on their 6th wedding anniversary.

Angelina Jolie's Buddhist Pali Incantation Tattoo which was written in Khmer script, the language of Cambodia. It is said to be a protection for her and her adopted Cambodian son, Maddox.
"May your enemies run away from you.
If you acquire riches, may they remain yours always.
Your beauty will be that of Apsara.
Wherever you may go, many will attend, serve and protect you,
surrounding you on all sides."

Additionally, the phrase, "a prayer for the wild at heart, kept in cages" struck me big time. It's also one of Jolie's famous tattoo.

But well, for now. I can only gaze at pictures online. Until I can muster up my courage and decide for myself, that's all I can do.

chuciao. :))

Oh, so yeah. I like him.
It's something out of the blue because fair-skinned guys aren't usually my type.
But hell, when I saw him play basketball, er, all I can think of was,
"his plays are enough to keep me drooling".. ha-ha!

One Friday evening, I forgot when, haha. Blanche, Laney and meself decided to pursue our videoke plans. We did not have Criminal Procedure that night so finally it pushed through. We went to a videoke place (I can't remember what it's called, haha me again for the second time). And sang our hearts out. Then went to Tata Benito's and ordered frappes and smoothies. I miss this.

chuciao... fffuuu

I wanted to change the header of The Wannabe so I scanned my saved pictures and well found this picture of mine making the L sign just like the one in Glee. LOL. we all love the loser sign.

Here is the one I made for the blog (i'm not that good so obviously, this is just a very simple editing. LOL. I wish I can be more adept in using Adobe Photoshop. As in, I literally can't use it or rather, I do not know how to use it.)

I made the above picture as my Facebook profile pic. A friend suggested to make the Ls into law school related words. Ergo, this:

I greeted Ms. Bebeth Timbol of ABS-CBN/Myx yesterday, September 7, for her birthday. I was not expecting her to reply much more to remember me. Ms. Bebeth was one of the speakers of Adcamp 9 and I personally contacted her. It was Mr. Andre Allan Alvarez, editor-in-chief of Myx Magazine who recommended her. I think it's a fulfilling feeling to be remembered by one of those speakers. I mean, we only met for a couple of hours or so.

So, finally, after a week of non-stop thoughts about the new Nokia C3, I was able to grasp this gorgeous-looking hot pink gadget in my hands yesterday. I was able to raise the funds needed for the purchase. I paid P7, 045 for it. Cash. Less expensive than what I expected. I've been rummaging the content and features of the phone since last night. I also tried facebook-ing and twitter-ing using it and well, it's not as fast as I hoped it would be but I guess, it's a lot more better than the usual nokia phone with internet accessibility. I have yet to visit the ovi store for apps and themes. What I like the most is that, it's really easy to use, plus I love the  conversation/chat format of the messages sent and received. I don't think it can compare to the iPhone, though. iPhone is in a different level. I mean, iPhone is really chic and manageable and convenient and all. Everything is there. But for those, who can't afford the hefty price of an iPhone (3G, especially, or the iPhone 4) or a Blackberry, I guess Nokia C3 is a good alternative. Actually, I was attracted to it (C3) because it's hot pink. ahaha. So, I'm just glad. I usually change phones every 2 years. Well, at least that's the average life span of all of my previous phones (the last one, a samsung, is still alive tho).

#sentisabado was started earlier today in twitter. It is all about being senti today. ahaha. Seriously, it was like a nationwide thread on the used-to-be popular activities, trends and a lot more during the 1990s. It was fun recalling those set aside memories which I usually discuss among my friends. So, here are some of my recollections. Not included those I would have wanted to tweet but was already taken by others. I don't like retweeting everything. ahaha.

And here are some of those memories that I would have wanted to tweet:

1. mga gagambang pinagsasabong sa stick
2. ghost fighter, lupin, slamdunk!
3. every night ibang anime sa primetime ng GMA: Anime Resurrection
4. pick-up sticks, jackstone
5. F.L.A.M.E.S., C.A.N.D.L.E
6. sariling code ng barkada
7. May pangalan ang barkada galing sa first letter ng name ng members!
8. different shapes na nagagawa sa rubberbands
9. Home Along Da Riles, Abangan ang susunod na Kabanata, Palibhasa Lalaki
10. Gwapings!
11. Alas kwatro y media na, Ang TV na!
12. before walang online shopping! mas tipid
13. pager! hindi cellphone!
14. Mula sa Puso, Mara Clara
15. Ultraman, Shaider, Mask Rider Black
16. Candy or Lollipop ginagawang lipsticks!
17. Are you afraid of the dark, Okatokat, Calvento files, Kung may katwiran Ipaglaban MO, Mel & Jay at hindi Mel & Joey
18. Dati may bold pa sa sine ngayon wala na! ahaha!
19. mga abubot ni jolina mangdangal: furry rings and butterfly hairclips

I'll end it here! This will go on forever. 'Twas a fun night. and I love #sentisabado. Brings back happy and carefree memories.
